TERMS OF REFERENCE

                                                                  CONSULTANCY TO DEVELOP RADIO JINGLES

 Background of Consultancy 

WCoZ in partnership with Hivos, Gender Links (GL), Youth Empowerment and Transformation Trust (YETT) are implementing Women and Youth Inclusion for Equality (WYI4E) project which focuses on strengthening and amplifying the voices and participation of women and youth at all levels of political and civic life. It is against this background that the four are looking for a consultant from interested artists to develop radio jingles advocating for the promotion of women’s equal participation in decision making processes at all levels.

Objectives of Consultancy

A consultant is therefore sought to develop Radio jingles advocating for the promotion of women’s equal participation in decision making processes at all levels in the following languages English, Tonga, Shona, Venda, Ndebele and Nambia.

Tasks under the Consultancy

In carrying out this work, reporting to the National Coordinator and under the supervision of the Project team, the consultant shall:

• Submit a detailed inception report outlining the Consultant’s understanding of the assignment and the approach to be employed.
• Submit detailed lyrics to the jingle with guidance from the project team
• Development and submission of radio jingles in different languges (Shona, English, Tonga and Nambya)

Deliverables:

The Consultancy will be responsible for the following deliverables:

• Submission of radio jingles in different languages

 Duration

This is a 5 Day Consultancy, expected to begin on 7^th November 2022.

 Remuneration

Remuneration and further details will be discussed with the successful candidate

Expected Qualifications, the experience of the Consultant

The Consultant must be:-

• an artist or group of artists with an appreciation of music
• understanding and fluency in local languages

 Bid Format

• Interested and experienced individuals or teams should submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to coalitionzw@gmail.com copy nonhlanhlan@wcoz.org and wcozprocurement@gmail.com on or before 30^th October 2022
• The EOI must detail the Consultant’s understanding of the Scope of Work. The EOI should also include a detailed budget, indicating a breakdown of all costs for conducting this work.  The EOI must not exceed two pages.
• Detailed C.V(s)/resume(s), with names of three referees and their contact details (email and phone)
• At least 2 recent samples of the product similar to that called for in this SOW
